A comeback Daniil Medvedev secured his initial trophy for over two years with a win over opponent Moutet in the competition championship match.
The Russian, a ex- top-ranked player, has had a challenging year, achieving just a single victory at the big events and experiencing a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
The player's varied form on the tennis tour - and issues with his serve in especial - led to him falling of the elite rankings and eventually parting ways with long-time mentor Cervara.
Presently training with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has steadily advanced in the recent weeks - peaking in a tightly fought competitive triumph over opponent Moutet.
This marks his first trophy since the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hardcourt since that period of that year.

His counter-punching play style and regular outbursts on court had led observers to question if his skill to perform at the elite level was concluded.
Yet the 29-year-old has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to come to the net and compete positively, supported by an improved serve.
Medvedev fought back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the challenging Frenchman, taking 4 of the final five points to take the lead.
The competitors exchanged service breaks in the second set before the challenger, bidding for his initial ATP Tour championship, gained dominance to force a third set.
He rescued four initial break points in a close deciding set before Medvedev broke to fifteen to secure the win.
